The Niles Riverfest board is always looking for volunteers to help plan this annual festive event. You can choose to become involved as little or as much as you want. There are a variety of committees in which you can become involved.

The Riverfest board meets all year-round, but committee chairs will set meetings for a limited time based on the needs for the type of event, activity or area of responsibility the committee is responsible for. You can choose a committee based on your area of experience or expertise, interest, or just to be involved in something new. The Riverfest committees include:

• Entertainment

• Arts and crafts vendors

• Special events and activities

• Food vendors

• Children's games and activities

• Publicity and advertising

• Merchandise

• Fund raising

• Mr. & Ms. Riverfest pageant

• "Anything That Floats" raft race

• Dragon boat race

• Car and truck show

• Site planning and facilities
